As part of the SANU 2nd Home project in the countryside around Tokyo, renewable raw materials are being used and circular material flows created in order to minimise environmental impact.
This new-build timber frame house with an open-jointed cladding facade was constructed right on the shores of Lake Shinji on Japan’s main Honshū island.
